At ST Engineering MRAS, we are also rapidly augmenting our maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities leveraging the company's expanded aircraft nacelle portfolio as well as it's materials and processing expertise. What YOU will do Provide production troubleshooting support and daily direction to both hourly and salary manufacturing personnel.Develop and maintain assembly work instructions, repair plans, and vendor fabrication instructions.Design and implement new and revised assembly and inspection tooling.Review, interpret, and approve engineering drawings and process improvement, driving labor hour and cycle reduction initiatives and enhanced productivity.Provide ME/DFM input on proposals, NPI design activity, and engineering change requests.Pursue new technology initiatives and R&D.Lead and support equipment upgrades through research, analysis, selection, purchase, and SOWs for tools and equipment designed and manufactured externallyEnsure processes prioritize safety and ergonomics.Support FAA, NADCAP, AS9100, and Customer audit activityInvestigate product quality issues and implement improvements related to RCCA and defect reduction.Participate in regular cross-functional meeting with operations, quality, design, and program managementLead activities related to factory layout and capacity planning. Who YOU must bring to Succeed BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, from an accredited university4+ years of technical engineering and hands-on experience with fabrication and mechanical assemblyStrong oral and written communication skills Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and specificationsCAD experience This position involves access to export-controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization.
