Overview

The Landscape Field Trainer at Village Green Landscapes is a key leadership role focused on enhancing the skills and knowledge of landscape teams in Minnesota. This position involves hands-on training, mentorship, and ensuring workplace safety while delivering high-quality landscape services.

Key responsibilities

  • Train new and existing team members on landscape construction techniques and safety procedures.
  • Provide hands-on training and feedback to improve crew performance.
  • Rotate time with all assigned landscape crews to ensure comprehensive training.
  • Create training tools in collaboration with leadership.
  • Demonstrate equipment operation for safe landscape installation.
  • Ensure proper communication with customers and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and reinforce best practices.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of hardscape installation experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred
  • Proficiency in reading landscape design prints
  • Strong customer communication skills
  • Experience with safety training and OSHA requirements
