Job Description

Overview

Tomorrow RNG is seeking a Pump Technician to ensure optimal working conditions for landfill gas pumps. The role involves regular monitoring of pumps and operations in demanding field conditions and requires adherence to safety protocols. Candidates must reside within 45 minutes of the Fort Smith site and may be required to be on-call for emergencies.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow established field maintenance procedures and design standards
  • Perform safe and efficient pump round duties
  • Collect and log pump counts and upload data
  • Troubleshoot pneumatic well pump operations
  • Conduct vacuum surveys and perform maintenance on pumps
  • Install and clean pneumatic well pumps
  • Assist with general field operations and team support
  • Safely use hand and power tools
  • Read and interpret field maps and GCCS components
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment safely
  • Provide end-of-day operational reports
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates to the maintenance log
  • Identify and report field safety hazards and process issues
  • Participate in ongoing training and knowledge sharing

Required skills

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools
  • Fundamentals of working with computers and Microsoft applications
  • Ability to multitask and be self-directed
  • Experience with heavy equipment operation
  • RNG/Landfill, construction, or roofing experience is a plus
  • Skills in operating heavy equipment
