Job Description

Overview

The Landfill Gas Plant Manager at Tomorrow RNG is responsible for the overall leadership and operational performance of the RNG plant located in Melissa, Texas. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing plant personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, while driving continuous improvement and efficiency in plant operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee all plant operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance
  • Supervise Plant Operators, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations
  • Lead response to plant upsets, emergencies, and callouts
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs
  • Review and approve technical documentation
  • Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Collaborate with corporate teams on financial performance analysis
  • Monitor operating expenses and implement cost control measures
  • Serve as primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external stakeholders
  • Provide monthly metrics reporting to leadership
  • Support workforce development and competency progression of employees

Required skills

  • 5+ years of field/plant operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
  • 3+ years in a supervisory or management role
  • Demonstrated leadership capability in field/plant operations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and independent decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in applicable control systems and safety management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to interpret and train on SOPs and procedures
  • Effective communication skills
