Mercy is seeking a Part-Time Lab Support Technician in Saint Louis, Missouri, to be a vital part of the provider care team. This role involves supporting laboratory operations through data management, customer service, and specimen handling, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and laboratory policies are followed.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely laboratory support
  • Acquire various types of specimens for laboratory testing
  • Process, transport, and refer laboratory specimens and reports
  • Perform limited laboratory testing as required
  • Assist technologists with testing methods
  • Exhibit excellent customer service in all interactions
