Lab Support TechnicianUnder the general supervision of the Laboratory Support Services Supervisor, the Lab Support Technician is responsible for providing quality customer oriented laboratory services including specimen procurement, specimen processing and related specialized procedures, and service to effectively communicate information to users of the Laboratory Services in order to ensure the department is able to operate efficiently and to successfully fulfill its mission. Lab Support Technicians also provide training and guidance to less experienced laboratory support technicians.Department: Lab Support Services (40 hours, Evenings (3pm- 11:30 pm)/Night Coverage as Needed)Schedule: Full TimeJob RequirementsEducation:High School Diploma.Experience:One year of Phlebotomy, EKG, and/or specimen processing experience is preferred.Certification, Licenses, & Registrations:Phlebotomy Certification (ASCP) preferred.Compensation Range:$20.42- $26.41This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
