Overview

Eterna Management, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Operations Manager to lead and improve laboratory operations in their hemp-derived products division. This role focuses on organizing, refining, and elevating existing laboratory processes while ensuring compliance with quality standards and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily laboratory operations across COA and R&D functions
  • Manage sample tracking and prioritize laboratory tasks
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce errors
  • Monitor third-party laboratory performance and reliability
  • Conduct analyses on new R&D projects and provide insights
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Directly manage laboratory team members and promote accountability
  • Provide structured weekly operations reports and KPI tracking
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance on documentation and compliance

Required skills

  • Demonstrated experience in laboratory operations and process improvement
  • 2 years of management experience
  • Strong understanding of laboratory testing methods (e.g., HPLC, GC)
  • Ability to interpret laboratory data and understand underlying causes
  • Proven people management skills and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working within quality systems or regulated environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
