Job Description

Overview

As a Korean Translator at Fisher Investments, you will join the in-house translation team to provide essential translation services across various departments. This role allows you to support the company's globalization efforts by translating financial, marketing, legal, and educational content from English to Korean while collaborating with internal clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary language expert for internal clients and facilitate translation requests
  • Develop tone and language style guides for each serviced market
  • Maintain terminology bases for the target language
  • Localise various content types including financial, marketing, legal, and educational materials
  • Review and edit translated materials for clarity and accuracy
  • Translate capital markets-related content from English into Korean
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as directed by management

Required skills

  • Fluency in Korean and English
  • Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or related certification
  • 2+ years of experience in translation, editing, or content production
  • Experience in finance and capital markets is advantageous
  • Knowledge of CAT tools and TMS technology
  • Strong editing skills for clarity and consistency
  • Ability to manage complexity and coordinate across departments under strict timelines
  • Client-focused approach with a desire to support global growth
