Overview

Pelican Brewing Company is launching a new Tap Room in Rockaway Beach and is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee back-of-house operations. This hands-on leadership role involves building a strong kitchen team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food that complements their craft beer offerings.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage overall back-of-house and kitchen operations
  • Function as head chef and kitchen supervisor
  • Create and manage kitchen staff schedules
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and guest experience
  • Ensure compliance with Oregon food guidelines and OSHA regulations
  • Track employee performance and administer reviews and recognition
  • Recruit and retain top kitchen team members
  • Communicate weekly with the Regional Chef and Director of Restaurant Operations
  • Maintain a clean working environment
