Overview

Tague Lumber is seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer to join their Malvern showroom team. In this role, you will collaborate directly with clients to create customized kitchen designs while focusing on consultative selling and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform consultations for clients seeking expert advice for their Kitchen and Bath projects
  • Educate, encourage, and sell product and project solutions related to design projects
  • Balance sales drive with understanding of margin and profitability goals
  • Maintain accurate project and meeting notes and drawings
  • Produce layouts using applicable design software (e.g., 20/20)
  • Handle order entries, contract agreements, delivery schedules, and follow-up
  • May produce design work for commercial or residential projects

Required skills

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the Kitchen & Bath Design field
  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or related field
  • Experience with 20/20 design software or AutoCAD
  • Ability to learn specific manufacturer's product software
  • Skilled in design estimating and sales
  • Ability to deal with contractors, architects, and homeowners
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and passion for quality
