Overview

The Kitchen Clerk at Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace plays a vital role in supporting kitchen operations during overnight shifts. This position involves food preparation, packaging, and stocking to ensure a smooth morning shift while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Follow prep lists from chefs to set up the workstation
  • Wash, chop, slice, and dice vegetables and other ingredients
  • Measure and mix ingredients for sides, sauces, and dishes
  • Handle basic cooking tasks like reducing sauces and assembling dishes
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
  • Stock and label ingredients for easy access
  • Follow nutrition, sanitation, and safety guidelines

Required skills
