Overview

The Norfolk Companies is seeking a passionate Kitchen & Bath Designer to join their team in Mattapan, Massachusetts. This role involves working directly with homeowners, builders, and contractors to create beautiful kitchen and bathroom designs while managing projects from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

  • Design kitchens and bathrooms using 20/20 Design, AutoCAD, or similar software
  • Meet with clients to understand their needs, style, and project goals
  • Generate and close sales opportunities from showroom traffic, referrals, and leads
  • Manage projects from initial consultation through final installation
  • Measure spaces, review floor plans, and create functional design solutions
  • Follow up on leads and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Stay current on design trends, materials, and industry innovations

Required skills

  • Extensive sales experience in kitchen & bath, remodeling, interior design, or building materials
  • Experience with kitchen and bath design software (20/20 Design, AutoCAD, or similar)
  • Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of cabinetry, space planning, and interior design principles
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as HubSpot
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer homes and project sites
