Overview

The Kinder Teacher at The Paideia Academies Inc. is responsible for promoting whole-child education by collaborating with parents, educators, and campus leaders. The role involves using data to monitor student progress and implementing the Paideia curriculum to deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet state requirements and support diverse learning needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with parents and educators to nurture scholars' whole-child development
  • Utilize the Paideia curriculum for lesson planning and delivery
  • Monitor and assess student learning through assignments and standardized tests
  • Maintain a healthy classroom culture and a safe learning environment
  • Keep parents informed of academic performance and social acclimation through regular updates
  • Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development opportunities

Required skills

  • Bachelor degree in Elementary Education preferred
  • SEI Certification
  • Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience teaching diverse students and those with learning challenges
  • Knowledge of Arizona state standards in Elementary Education
  • Ability to take and utilize feedback for improvement
  • Outstanding instructional skills and classroom management
  • Strong communication skills with scholars and parents
  • Demonstrated professionalism and a strong work ethic
