Job Description

Overview

The Kinder Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at The Paideia Academies Inc. will be responsible for promoting whole-child education and collaborating with parents, educators, and campus leaders. The teacher will utilize the Paideia curriculum to provide engaging lessons and support students' academic and social development in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with parents, educators, and campus leaders to nurture whole-child excellence
  • Plan and deliver lessons according to the Paideia philosophy and curriculum guidelines
  • Utilize relevant data to monitor and grade scholar learning activities
  • Create and maintain a healthy classroom culture through clear procedures and mindfulness practices
  • Maintain a safe and secure classroom environment following school guidelines
  • Monitor various school-related areas for safety and behavior
  • Keep parents updated on student performance and development through regular conferences
  • Participate in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education preferred
  • SEI Certified
  • Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience teaching diverse students and those with learning challenges
  • Knowledge of Arizona state standards for Elementary Education
  • Ability to utilize feedback to improve teaching skills
  • Outstanding instructional skills and classroom management
  • Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Professionalism and strong work ethic
