Overview

The Katie Miller Program Coordinator at the Helen Ross McNabb Center is responsible for managing the daily operations of adolescent alcohol and drug residential services. This role involves co-facilitating groups, serving as the educational liaison, and overseeing program compliance and client care.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Create staff schedules and provide coverage for adequate client safety
  • Respond to crisis situations and ensure incident reports are completed
  • Conduct treatment team and client staffing to ensure continuity of care
  • Oversee behavior modification systems and program development
  • Supervise team leaders and counselors, providing training and development
  • Complete required documentation and compliance audits in a timely manner

Required skills

  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in child welfare, including supervisory experience
  • Experience working with adolescents and in the alcohol and drug field
  • Clinical license to practice therapy in Tennessee
  • Ability to manage crisis situations effectively
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in working with diverse populations
