Overview

Study Smart Tutors is seeking a K-5th Summer STEM Part-Time Tutor in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves tutoring students in science and engineering, using diverse teaching strategies to support educational equity and success in the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students
  • Teach subjects related to Science and Engineering for K-5th grade
  • Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff
  • Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
  • Partner with the Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies

Required skills

  • Completed 4-year degree
  • Teaching or tutoring experience
  • Robotics experience
  • Strong communication skills
