Overview

Join Klamath Basin Behavioral Health as a Jr. Accountant and become an integral part of a dynamic finance team. You will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, grant reporting, and general ledger accuracy, all while being part of a supportive, growth-focused environment located in beautiful Southern Oregon.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare bank deposits, record journal entries, and generate invoices related to grants and contracts
  • Support the preparation and timely submission of financial reports for grants and state contracts
  • Maintain the general ledger by performing account reconciliations and researching discrepancies
  • Collaborate with the finance team and cross-functional departments to support financial operations
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2 years of accounting experience
  • Experience with general ledger accounting and inventory management
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proactive
