Overview

Olymel is seeking a Journeyman Plumber/Gas Fitter to join their Facilities Management team in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. This role emphasizes collaboration and offers a fast-paced work environment, where the incumbent will undertake new service installations, repairs, and upgrades of existing facilities and equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Repair and replace heating and plumbing services in assigned facilities
  • Install new gas and plumbing services in assigned facilities
  • Develop project budgets, materials, and project hours
  • Maintain effective working relationships with staff in assigned facilities
  • Ensure high quality work that meets codes and professional standards
  • Ensure all work is conducted safely and obtain required permits
  • Adhere to all bio-security protocols
  • Perform other related duties

Required skills

  • Journeyman Gas Fitter/Plumber certification in Saskatchewan
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license for Saskatchewan
  • Ability to work independently
