Olymel is seeking a motivated and skilled Journeyman Plumber/Gas Fitter to join their team in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing and gas services, contributing to the efficiency and quality of operations within the facilities management team.

Key responsibilities

  • Repair and replace heating and plumbing services in assigned facilities
  • Install new gas and plumbing services in assigned facilities
  • Develop project budgets, materials, and project hours
  • Maintain effective working relationships with staff in assigned facilities
  • Ensure all work is of high quality and meets codes and professional standards
  • Perform all work in a safe manner and obtain required permits
  • Adhere to Bio-security protocols
  • Complete other related duties as required

Required skills

  • Journeyman Gas Fitter/Plumber certification in Saskatchewan
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license for Saskatchewan
  • Ability to work independently
