Overview

RedTown Technical Services, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Plumber to join their team in Corpus Christi, Texas. The role requires a minimum of five years of experience and a solid understanding of plumbing codes, installation methods, and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Layout and install various piping types for cold water, compressed air, chilled water, and steam piping per design drawings
  • Install hangers and supports for various pipes and sizes
  • Perform inspection and testing of equipment and systems following industry standards
  • Make final plumbing connections for local equipment installed on site
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues
  • Estimate materials and perform takeoffs
  • Document as-built conditions

Required skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber
  • Solid understanding of plumbing codes and installation methods
  • Ability to read blueprints, legend symbols, and one-line diagrams
  • Knowledge of plumbing tools, equipment, and materials
  • Trained to operate machinery such as scissor lifts and forklifts
  • Valid TDLR Journeyman License
  • OSHA 10/30 preferred
  • Team collaboration and safety management skills
