Overview

RedTown Technical Services, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Plumber to join their team in Corpus Christi, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in plumbing and a solid understanding of plumbing codes and installation methods.

Key responsibilities

  • Layout and install various piping types for cold water, compressed air, chilled water, and steam piping
  • Install hangers and supports for various pipes and sizes
  • Inspect and test equipment and systems following industry standards
  • Make final plumbing connections for local equipment installed on site
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues
  • Estimate materials and perform takeoffs
  • Document As-built conditions

Required skills

  • Minimum 5 years of work history as a Journeyman Plumber
  • Solid understanding of plumbing codes and installation methods
  • Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to plumbing
  • Trained to operate machinery (e.g., scissor lifts, forklifts)
  • TDLR Journeyman License required
  • OSHA 10/30 preferred
  • Safety awareness and team collaboration skills
