Job Description

Overview

RedTown Technical Services, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their team in Corpus Christi, Texas. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in large projects and a solid understanding of electrical codes and installation methods.

Key responsibilities

  • Setup, layout and install Main Distribution Panels and Transformers
  • Pull various sizes of conductors/cable into conduit/cable tray per drawings
  • Build and install EMT and rigid conduit systems
  • Terminate conductors/cables including 120v, 240v, 208v, and 480v
  • Perform Ethernet cable terminations
  • Conduct troubleshooting and commissioning
  • Estimate materials and perform takeoffs
  • Implement Lockout/Tagout methods and procedures
  • Document As-built conditions

Required skills

  • 5 years of work history as an Electrician
  • Solid understanding of electrical codes and installation methods
  • Ability to read blueprints and one-line diagrams
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials in the electrical trade
  • TDLR License Required
  • OSHA 10/30 preferred
  • Cad welding (helpful)
  • Network Cabling (helpful)
  • Basic electrician's tools
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
