Overview

The Journeyman Building Technician at Hassan & Sons Inc. is tasked with maintaining and repairing convenience store facilities to ensure safety, functionality, and regulatory compliance. This role involves a variety of hands-on tasks and requires traveling to multiple sites to address maintenance needs efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair equipment inside the convenience store
  • Perform electrical, plumbing, painting, locksmithing, drywall, roofing, and asphalt repairs
  • Receive and respond to work orders through the Ecotrack Facilities Management platform
  • Inspect facilities for routine maintenance and prioritize repairs
  • Ensure compliance with ADA and federal safety regulations

Required skills

  • Building technician experience
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Completion of apprenticeship programs preferred
  • Valid driver's license (Commercial driver's license preferred)
  • Understanding of building and construction
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical thinking and reasoning skills
  • Mathematical knowledge
  • Computer proficiency, including knowledge of Ecotrack Facilities Management software
