Overview

The Job Coach at Home of Hope is responsible for establishing business relationships that create employment opportunities for clients. This role involves facilitating client placement in vocational environments, advocating for clients, and ensuring they receive necessary social services to achieve success in their careers.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and coordinate necessary services for clients to aid in social and vocational integration.
  • Match client skills and abilities with suitable job opportunities and solicit employers to hire clients.
  • Assist employers with job training issues to ensure clients gain necessary skills.
  • Develop natural supports to encourage vocational success including transportation and support networks.
  • Complete documentation to support billing and regulatory compliance.
  • Keep updated on regulatory developments and assist clients in achieving their maximum potential.

Required skills

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalency
  • 6 months of experience in a service-oriented environment, preferably in job development
  • Above average interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in office equipment
  • Ability to organize tasks and produce accurate work
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  • First Aid/CPR certification
