Overview

Cohere Technology Group LLC is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer with an active TS/SCI security clearance to join their development team in McLean, Virginia. This position involves supporting a Government customer with the development of a large-scale enterprise application utilizing modern web technologies and cloud-based systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in agile development processes including daily SCRUMs, story grooming, and sprint execution
  • Develop and extend software to implement new capabilities and mature existing ones
  • Maintain the deployed system and provide support to end-users
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within the software
  • Provide technical and methodological guidance to the team

Required skills

  • Java development (6+ years)
  • Angular 3+ and PrimeNG UI components or similar web framework (6+ years)
  • PostgreSQL or similar Relational Database Management System (RDBMS)
  • Experience with middle tier messaging systems like Kafka and Active MQ
  • Development and usage of RESTful web services
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance and current CI Poly or consent to Poly
