Overview

As an IVA and Digital Platform Developer at Astound, you will lead the design and development of interactive virtual assistant solutions, focusing on creating effective conversational AI experiences. You will utilize various development platforms and integrate these solutions with backend systems to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of IVA digital/chat solutions.
  • Master and leverage conversational AI development platforms.
  • Integrate IVA with various backend systems using REST and SOAP Web Services.
  • Implement and optimize Natural Language Understanding (NLU) models.
  • Conduct rigorous UAT/QA testing and quality assurance.
  • Analyze user interactions for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements.
  • Research and recommend new tools and techniques in conversational AI.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IVR/Digital, voicebots, chatbots, or Conversational AI.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, and Node.js.
  • Strong knowledge of Web Services using REST and SOAP.
  • Experience with data formats like JSON and databases such as SQL, Oracle, Redis, and MongoDB.
  • Solid understanding of NLP and NLU concepts.
  • Experience working with Small Language Models (SLMs).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
