Overview

As an IVA and Digital Platform Developer at Astound, you will lead the design and development of Interactive Virtual Assistant (IVA) solutions, focusing on Conversational AI and API integration. Your expertise in natural language processing, system integration, and platform mastery will be crucial in building high-performing conversational agents and enhancing user experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of IVA Digital/chat solutions
  • Leverage IVA/Digital development platforms to build and deploy conversational agents
  • Integrate IVA with API connections for seamless user experience
  • Optimize NLU models for intent accuracy and entity recognition
  • Conduct rigorous testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications
  • Analyze user interactions and feedback for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers
  • Research advancements in Conversational AI and recommend new tools

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Linguistics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in developing conversational AI solutions
  • Experience with Node.js, Java, and Python
  • Proficient in using NLU and NLP concepts
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP Web Services
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Small Language Models (SLMs)
