Analyze and maintain financial records for U.S. subsidiaries and affiliates of Italian corporations, including records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and other financial activities. Prepare, review, and verify financial statements, annual reports, and accounting records to ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Italian GAAP principles, and applicable tax regulations. Liaise with finance personnel, accountants, and auditors at clients' Italian headquarters to collect and provide financial information for inclusion in Italian annual reports, tax filings, and compliance documentation. Prepare supporting documentation for month-end and year-end financial reporting and maintain accurate accounting records for corporate clients. Perform budgeting, financial controlling, cost management, and cash flow analysis. Review financial operations, expenditures, revenues, and obligations to ensure compliance with financial objectives and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain internal accounting controls and financial procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accepted accounting practices. Advise clients on financial reporting, accounting procedures, tax compliance, and best practices related to multinational business operations and cross-border financial reporting requirements. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as accountant, auditor, finance analyst or related. Related experience must include the following: Preparation of financial statements according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); Italian corporate tax reporting and compliance; and Italian GAAP principles.
