IT Support Specialist (Onsite, Part-Time)Worcester, MA Area 30 Hours/Week $30-$38/hour A mission-driven K-8 school is seeking a Technology Operations & Support Specialist to serve as the primary onsite IT resource. This highly visible role supports 200 students and 75+ faculty/staff in a Mac-based, Google Workspace environment. Key Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for technical issues Provide hands-on, in-person support to staff and students Configure and maintain Mac devices and classroom technology Support AV equipment, printers, and instructional tools Manage tickets and track recurring issues Coordinate device lifecycle and inventory Support Google Workspace users and daily operations Liaise with external IT vendors for escalations Assist with device rollout and seasonal IT initiatives Qualifications: 2-4 years of IT support or help desk experience Strong macOS support experience required Experience with Google Workspace Solid troubleshooting skills across hardware/software/connectivity Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Preferred: Experience in a school or educational environment Familiarity with device management (e.g., Mosyle) Exposure to RMM tools and vendor-supported IT models Why This Role: Be the go-to onsite IT expert Flexible, part-time schedule Collaborative, community-focused environment Opportunity to make an immediate and meaningful impact
