Overview

As an IT Support Associate II at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations team with technical issues in an Amazon Operations facility. This role involves troubleshooting IT equipment and providing support across multiple locations, while also participating in career development opportunities to advance within the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Allocate, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities
  • Handle support requests and procedures across the network
  • Assist in training new hires
  • Continuously learn new technologies
  • Support customers from multiple buildings and remote locations
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours

Required skills

  • Experience troubleshooting integrated computer systems
  • High degree of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of support experience in Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware installation, AWS or similar certifications
