Overview

As an IT Support Associate II at Amazon, you will provide essential technical support to the operations team across various Amazon facilities. This role involves troubleshooting IT equipment, handling support requests, and assisting in training new hires, all while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Allocate, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities
  • Handle support requests and procedures across the network
  • Assist in training new hires
  • Engage in continuous learning of new technologies
  • Support customers from multiple buildings and remote locations
  • Travel within local or regional areas to support customers

Required skills

  • Troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
  • Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours
  • Experience in Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other relevant cert
