Job Description

Overview

As an IT Support Associate II at Amazon, you will be part of the OpsTech IT team responsible for providing IT support within Amazon Operations facilities. This role involves troubleshooting technical problems, training new hires, and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT equipment across a defined geographical area.

Key responsibilities

  • Allocate, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
  • Handle support requests and procedures across the network.
  • Assist in training new hires.
  • Continuously learn new technologies.
  • Support customers from multiple buildings and remote locations.
  • Occasionally lift up to 49 lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
  • Travel within local or regional areas to support customers.

Required skills

  • Experience working with computer systems and troubleshooting
  • Experience in a dynamic environment with high customer service
  • 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry rele
