Position could be located in either NYC, St Louis, Nashville, Washington DC, Philadelphia, San Diego, Cleaveland, Seattle or Phoenix. You will be part of a team focusing on permanent placements across our client portfolio. Responsibilities include sourcing for candidates, assessing their skillset and fit in an interview, presenting candidates to our clients, setting up interviews, and (the best part) offering a candidate his or her new job. All in a day's work!What We're Looking For4-6 years of experience at a staffing agency or related full life-cycle technology recruiting or recruiting support in a fast paced, high volume environmentUndergraduate degreeUtilizing all available tools including but not limited to job boards and LinkedInExcellent written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsWriting and posting technical job advertisements and descriptionsParsing specialized qualifications and skills for screening IT resumesSourcing potential candidates via professional platforms, (e.g. Github, Stack Overflow)Staying aware of new technological products as well as the latest trendsOnboarding new hiresPromoting the reputation of our company as a nice workplaceMeticulously adding notes to ATSCrafting and sending recruiting emails to passive candidates with current open jobsPerforming pre-screening interviews for analyzing the abilities of candidatesInterviewing candidates using various techniques (e.g. technical assessments, behavioral and structured questions)RequirementsAt least a Bachelor's degree in IT, Human Resources Management or a relevant fieldPrior experience as a Technical RecruiterSolid technical background needed to understand as well as explain requirements for IT-related jobsPrior experience with conducting various types of interviews (e.g. structured, phone, Skype)Experience with resume databases and Applicant Tracking SystemsExperience with various sourcing methods (e.g. Boolean search, social media recruiting etc.)Sound knowledge of all labor regulations and HR practicesSound knowledge of full cycle recruitingStrong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skillsExceptional time-management and organizational skillsWhat You Would DoScreen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person), conduct the appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire (or not hire), and deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt positions with our clientsFollow up with candidates and clients to ensure updated information on the status of the interview processWhat Makes You Successful HereYou're an adaptable, quick learner.
