Job Description

Overview

The IT Enterprise Business Analyst will support IT project initiation efforts, technology procurements, and business systems analysis activities in Atlanta, GA. The role involves analyzing project requests, documenting requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery while working closely with the IT BA Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze IT project initiation requests and compile necessary documentation.
  • Gather, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions.
  • Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and document business process workflows, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Support the development of Statements of Work (SOW) for IT acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for vendor evaluations and procurement activities.
  • Participate in SDLC activities and transition requirements to project teams.
  • Provide status updates and maintain work logs for project schedules.

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst
  • Strong understanding of business/data process analysis methodologies and SDLC processes
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and workshops
  • Experience developing process flows and functional specifications
  • Experience with procurement documentation
  • Elite soft skills including communication, presentation, and negotiation
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Active Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Visio, SharePoint, Balsamiq
