Overview

The IP Speech Pathologist at Cox Barton County Hospital assesses, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders in patients. This role involves developing treatment plans based on assessments and recommendations from various healthcare professionals. Candidates should have significant experience and a strong foundation in speech pathology.

Key responsibilities

  • Work independently with minimal supervision

Required skills

  • Graduate of a Speech Pathology Program
  • Master's or Doctorate from an accredited Speech Pathology Program preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Clinical expertise in speech therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • BLS certification within 90 days
  • Active Speech Therapy license in Missouri
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or eligibility for this certification
