Overview

The Investment Counselor - Wealthbuilder role at Fisher Investments is an entry-level position designed for individuals looking to launch a career in the financial services industry. This program offers specialized training, including obtaining the Series 65 license, and prepares candidates to eventually assist clients in reaching their long-term financial goals while providing a foundation in finance and capital markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to serve clients at a team level
  • Act as the liaison between the Investment Policy Committee and US clients
  • Review client asset allocation to ensure alignment with long-term financial goals
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and educate them on portfolio strategy and market events
  • Manage client communication and work with internal departments to fulfill operational requests

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience in an Operational, Administrative, Client-Facing, or Finance setting
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to pass the Series 65 license
  • Consultative approach with an emphasis on client focus
