Overview

The Investment Counselor - Wealthbuilder role at Fisher Investments is an entry-level opportunity designed to prepare candidates for a long-term career in the financial services industry. Through specialized training and mentorship, new hires will develop their skills in finance, client relations, and investment strategies while working towards obtaining the Series 65 license.

Key responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the team to serve clients at a team level
  • Act as a liaison between the Investment Policy Committee and US clients
  • Review clients' asset allocation and ensure alignment with their long-term financial goals
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and educate them on portfolio strategy and market events
  • Respond to and manage client communications and operational requests

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience in an Operational, Administrative, Client-Facing, or Finance setting
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to pass the Series 65 license
  • Client-focused and consultative approach
