Overview

Fisher Investments is seeking an Investment Counselor to join their team in Gresham, Oregon, focusing on a roster of high-net-worth clients. This role emphasizes client relationship management and investment strategy without the pressure of traditional sales responsibilities, ensuring that the compensation structure aligns with clients' best interests.

Key responsibilities

  • Build trusting relationships with clients, educating them on portfolio strategy and market events.
  • Proactively connect with clients quarterly to review their asset allocation and financial goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including portfolio decision-makers and client service associates.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of client relationship experience in the finance industry.
  • Series 65 (support provided to obtain upon starting).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Consultative approach with a focus on client service.
