Overview

Fisher Investments is seeking an Investment Counselor to manage a provided roster of high-net-worth clients in Plano, Texas. This role focuses on building strong relationships and providing personalized investment guidance without the pressures of traditional sales roles.

Key responsibilities

  • Build trusting relationships with clients and educate them on portfolio strategy and market events
  • Proactively connect with clients quarterly to review asset allocation and financial goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams including portfolio decision-makers and research teams
  • Gradually build a roster of high-net-worth clients within the first year

Required skills

  • 2+ years in client relationship management within the finance industry
  • Series 65 (support provided to obtain this license)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Consultative approach with emphasis on client focus
