Overview

Inventory Specialist requires: • Knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and procedures. • Knowledge of warehouse operations, receiving, storage, and distribution processes. • Knowledge of auditing and inventory reconciliation procedures. • Knowledge of workplace safety practices related to inventory handling and storage. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures related to asset management • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record bkeeping. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in inventory management software and database systems. • Skill in data entry, reporting, and maintaining accurate records. • Skill in analyzing inventory data and identifying discrepancies. • Customer service skills for supporting internal stakeholders. • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and documentation. • Ability to perform physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. • Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions regarding inventory control. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, and stakeholders. • Ability to learn and adapt to new inventory systems, technologies, and procedures. • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information appropriately. • Ability to lift, move, and organize inventory items in accordance with safety guidelines. • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions. • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and inventory management standards. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. •
