The Inventory Planner is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing costs, ensuring efficient supply chain operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description - other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.Plan inventory for assigned product lines. This responsibility includes forecasting, setting replenishment criteria, purchasing, and distributing inventory through the service center network.Set up new items including bills of material and the warehouse management system.Work with the service center teams to troubleshoot inventory, picking, and receiving issues.Expedite with suppliers and manufacturing sites. Collaborate with manufacturing sites to optimize the replenishment process.Support customer service team to meet customer needs.Work with sales team on stocking programs, product introductions, and product end of life.Other tasks/functions as assigned. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of pertinent work experience (supply chain and logistics preferred)Bachelor's degree requiredASCM Certification preferred Strong planning and organizational skills with an ability to handle a multitude of tasks.Self-motivated to learn with a desire and talent to advance professionally.Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills.High standards of integrity required.Willing to travel as needed.Proficient in MS ExcelERP experience required. QAD experience is a major plus.
