Job Description

Overview

The Interventional Radiologic Technologist Team Lead at OhioHealth plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations related to patient flow and imaging resource management. This position involves hands-on performance of imaging examinations, collaboration with clinical teams, and implementation of quality control programs, all centered around enhancing patient care within the Heart & Vascular department.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for imaging examinations and assist radiologists during procedures.
  • Coordinate daily workload with other clinical sections and departments to maximize efficiency.
  • Assist with training, orientation, and competency assessments for technologists.
  • Participate in the OhioHealth Innovation Council and implement protocols for technologists.
  • Enforce radiation safety standards and maintain cleanliness of equipment.

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • ARRT certification and Ohio Department of Health radiologic license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Competent computer skills, particularly with Electronic Medical Records
  • At least two years of previous imaging experience
