Job Description

Overview

Fisher Investments is seeking an International Investment Counselor to support high-net-worth clients in Canada from their Clearwater, Florida location. This role focuses on building client relationships, providing financial education, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver excellent service while adhering to a fee-only fiduciary model.

Key responsibilities

  • Build trusting and professional relationships with Canadian clients
  • Proactively connect with clients on a quarterly basis to review asset allocation
  • Educate clients on portfolio strategy, investments, market events, and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including portfolio decision-makers and client service associates
  • Gradually build a roster of high-net-worth clients with the assistance of the sales team

Required skills

  • CFA (passed any level)
  • Series 65 (to be obtained upon starting)
  • 4+ years of experience in portfolio management and client relationship building
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Consultative approach with an emphasis on client focus
