Overview

Fisher Investments is seeking an International Investment Counselor to service high-net-worth clients in Canada while working from the United States. This role focuses on developing client relationships and providing top-notch financial guidance without the need for prospecting.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with Canadian clients
  • Connect with clients quarterly to review asset allocation and financial goals
  • Educate clients on portfolio strategies and market events
  • Collaborate with internal portfolio decision-makers and sales teams
  • Gradually build a roster of high-net-worth clients

Required skills

  • CFA Level 1 certification or higher
  • Series 65 license (support provided to obtain)
  • 4+ years of experience in portfolio management and client relationship building
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong consultative approach with a client focus
