Overview

Fisher Investments is seeking an International Investment Counselor based in the U.S. to service high-net-worth clients in Canada. This role emphasizes building strong client relationships and managing portfolios without the pressure of prospecting, allowing you to focus on client service and investment education.

Key responsibilities

  • Build trusting and professional relationships with Canadian clients
  • Proactively connect with clients quarterly to review asset allocation
  • Educate clients on portfolio strategy, investments, and market events
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide optimal client service
  • Gradually build a roster of high-net-worth clients with support from sales team

Required skills

  • CFA certification (passed any level)
  • Series 65 certification (to be obtained upon starting)
  • 4+ years of experience in portfolio management
  • Client relationship building experience
  • Bachelor's degree
