Overview

Fisher Investments is seeking an International Investment Counselor to service high-net-worth clients in Canada. This role focuses on building strong client relationships and providing expert guidance in investment strategy, with a structured support system that emphasizes client service over sales.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusting professional relationships with Canadian clients
  • Proactively connect with clients on a quarterly basis for asset allocation reviews
  • Educate clients on portfolio strategy, investments, market events, and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with internal portfolio decision-makers and client service associates
  • Gradually build a roster of high-net-worth clients through sales team support

Required skills

  • CFA (passed any level)
  • Series 65 (to be obtained upon starting)
  • 4+ years of experience in portfolio management
  • Experience in client relationship building
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Consultative approach with emphasis on client focus

  • $90,000 - $140,000 base salary per year
