Overview

BAS Healthcare is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician in New Britain, Connecticut. This role involves providing internal medicine services within a medical clinic that emphasizes education and mentorship of residents, contributing to both patient care and professional training.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide internal medicine services while supervising resident clinics
  • Work Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
  • Supervise 5 to 6 learners per session
  • Handle 18-25 patients per half day
  • Teach and supervise residents during patient encounters
  • Examine patients jointly with residents and interns
  • Provide feedback and complete written evaluations
  • Manage inbox, prescription requests, and administrative tasks
  • Participate in shared call coverage every 3rd week
