Overview

The Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner at UC Davis Health provides independent advanced level clinical expertise to patients and their families, managing chronic stable medical conditions, routine care, and acute or critical care. This role includes performing both non-invasive and invasive procedures while collaborating with healthcare teams in a patient-centered environment focused on wellness.

Required skills

  • California Registered Nurse License
  • California Nurse Practitioner Furnishing License

  • National NP board certification in aligned specialty
  • Master's degree, DNP or PhD in Nursing
  • Minimum five years of experience as Nurse Practitioner
  • Three years of experience in Primary Care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Judgment and organizational skills
  • Ability to function independently
