The Internal Medicine - Geriatrics Physician position at Medix in Fresno, CA, is a fully remote role aimed at providing clinical leadership and direct patient care for a high-acuity patient population. Key responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership, oversight, and guidance to interdisciplinary care teams
  • Support quality initiatives, care model development, and clinical best practices
  • Deliver direct patient care including comprehensive head-to-toe assessments in patient homes
  • Manage and care for a medically complex, high-risk patient population
  • Collaborate with care teams to prevent avoidable hospitalizations and improve outcomes
  • Ensure high standards of clinical quality, safety, and patient-centered care

Required skills

  • Active, unrestricted California medical license
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
  • Experience caring for complex or high-risk patient populations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
