Overview

Amergis Locum Tenens is seeking a Board Certified Physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine for a primary care locum opportunity in Apple Valley, California. The position is available starting December 8, 2025, for a contract length of three months with the possibility of extensions, working Monday through Friday without on-call requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient primary care services
  • Manage patient volume of 10-14 patients per day
  • Utilize EMR system (Athena)
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare standards

Required skills

  • Board Certified in Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM)
  • Active California medical license
  • DEA & BLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of primary care experience
